PARKING CONTROL LEAD:
Supports management in directing and coordinating activities of department and Team Members, by performing the following duties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing work direction to Team Members. Communicating performance and behavior standards and expectations; providing feedback for recognition and performance improvement.
  • Monitoring parking area for operational effectiveness and making applicable notifications.
  • Performing daily administrative tasks, as required. Capturing written behaviors using the Observation Report to support managerial and supervisory documentation
  • Assisting with training new and current Team Members. Informing Team Members of current and new company and departmental policies and procedures. Observing and directing Team Member’s compliance with wardrobe and grooming standards.

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Employed with UO for a minimum of 90 days required.
  • Six months to one year experience providing work direction; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

VALET PARKING LEAD: Supports management in directing and coordinating activities of department and Team Members by performing the following duties.

  • Monitoring valet area for operational effectiveness and making applicable notifications.
  • Performing daily administrative tasks, as required. Capturing written behaviors using the Observation Report to support managerial and supervisory documentation.
  • Assisting with training new and current Team Members. Informs Team Members of current and new company and departmental policies and procedures. Observing and directing Team Member’s compliance with wardrobe and grooming standards

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Additional responsibilities/requirements for all Parking and Transportation Lead positions:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
