JOB SUMMARY: Parking Control Attendants greet, park and direct guests in an efficient and safe manner while providing exemplary guest service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely and professionally directing guests into appropriate parking areas from various positions. Maintaining safety standards to ensure team and guest safety.
  • Providing information including parking locations and assisting guests in a cheerful and helpful manner.
  • Safely assisting in set up of parking flow using cones, barricades and other equipment.
  • Cleaning and maintaining show quality standards in garages and surrounding areas reporting any concerns with supporting details
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Bus Loop Attendants manage traffic and direct guests in an efficient and safe manner while providing exemplary guest service.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITITES:

  • Providing information including parking location information and assistance to guests in a cheerful and helpful manner. Safely and professionally directing guests into appropriate parking areas. Managing traffic patterns and respectfully enforcing parking control ordinances. Accurately and neatly compiling the appropriate documentation.
  • Cleaning and maintaining show quality standards for department vehicles in the bus loop and the surrounding areas; reporting any concerns with supporting details. Ensuring the area is set up properly to maximize traffic flow and ensure the safety of all guests and Team Members.
  • Dispatching loading and unloading guests into and onto resort vehicles in a cheerful and helpful manner. Maintaining efficiency and order of queues.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Valet Runners provide a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for the park guests.

MAJOR RESONSIBILITIES:

  • Following safe driving procedures, including traffic laws, and safety protocol. Driving vehicles to and from parked areas, and securing the vehicle properly.
  • Ensuring tickets are filled out completely and accurately with specific information. Marking all pre-existing vehicle damage on the ticket. Return the keys with ticket to valet key booth.
  • Greeting all guests, and opening the vehicle doors. When working on the door greeting position, explaining valet procedures and pricing; offering additional services such as Red Carpet and Pre-paid service. Ensuring tickets are filled out completely and accurately with specific information. When in the screener position, greeting guests upon arrival and perform access control responsibilities for valet area.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Valet Booth Attendants provide a high level of guest service while properly handling cash/credit transactions and entering keys into the valet system to ensure quick return of guest vehicles. Providing transportation of the Valet Runners to and from the parking area and circle.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Following proper cash handling policy and procedure while maintaining a high level of guest service. Ensuring all transactions are processed correctly in the Zip Park and Galaxy systems.
  • Inputting guest/vehicle information in computer system. Ensure keys are entered in the system in a timely manner. Maintain and track the vehicle keys logged. Ensuring keys are placed in the proper location for efficient retrieval.
  • Providing transportation of the Valet Runners to and from the parking garage and circle. Following safe driving procedures, including traffic laws, and safety protocol.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and information logs are completed properly and accurately.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Toll Plaza Attendants provides exemplary guest service to guests arriving at the Toll Plaza while processing transactions. Utilizes suggestive and persuasive up selling techniques while offering additional parking options.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing parking pass transactions using established computer system, or manual transactions. Practices proper cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy at cash. Providing assistance to guests in a cheerful and helpful manner in each interaction and provides appropriate parking and park information to guests by utilizing the Sales through Service process.
  • Using persuasive selling techniques to up-sell guest transactions; including Preferred Parking and/or Valet parking. Maintaining a minimum average of upgraded parking sales while maintaining efficiency, as set by management.
  • Cleaning and maintaining show quality standards in toll plazas and garages and surrounding areas reporting any concerns with supporting details.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Resort Yacht Captains: pilot a resort yacht on Universal’s private waterway, from UO to various property resort hotels to CityWalk’s dock and back.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Piloting resort yachts, daily while providing an interactive ‘spiel’ to guests and positively engaging and interacting with guests, while maintaining expected guest safety and service levels. Loading and unloading guests and belongings, while maintaining appropriate passenger manifests per department P&P.
  • Cleaning yacht and facilities, inspecting yacht for service issues and report to appropriate contact, daily.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Resort Shuttle Drivers: drive UO mass transportation vehicles on property between the UO Resort Hotels, Transportation Center, Universal Studios Florida/Islands of Adventure, and back of house areas.

MAJOR RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • Driving the shuttle bus, daily while providing an interactive ‘spiel’ to guests and positively engaging and interacting with the guests and Team Members, while maintaining expected guest safety and service levels. Loading and unloading guests and belongings, while maintaining appropriate passenger manifests per department P&P.
  • Cleaning bus and facilities, inspecting bus for service issues and report to appropriate contact, daily.
  • Valid FLDL and Class B or C with a Passenger and Airbrake endorsement CDL.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Positions in Parking & Transportation require:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and or move between 20 and 50 pounds
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Maintaining a clean work environment with use of cleaning chemicals
