Attractions Attendant

Responsible for the safe operation of rides, shows, and attractions and delivery of enthusiastic service to our park's guests.

Qualified candidates must:

Employ words, phrases, and props that evoke the storyline and theme of the assigned attraction to its visiting guests. Enthusiastically greet and welcome guests as they approach or enter the Parks various Rides and Shows.

Screens guests for appropriate attire, food and beverage items, requisite height, and special attraction access information where applicable.

Assists in the timely departure of rides by assisting guests to seats and helping to secure ride restraints. Monitors rides and shows.

Evacuates rides and shows in case of shut down. Ensures appropriate Safety Procedures are followed as instructed.

Maintains orderly queues. Monitors and measures attraction wait times. Sets up and removes stanchions, ropes and poles as needed to appropriately configure the length of the queue.

Delivers approved scripts (Spieling attractions) to guests.

Employs personal empowerment, empathy, and creativity to resolve guest concerns or complaints. Keeps supervisor informed of the situation for resolution. Provides exemplary guest service at all times and scans the park for potential service cues that could lead to a positive service experience for our guests.

Maintains a clean work environment. Constantly monitors immediate and surroundings areas for trash and debris and assists in its removal as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Be comfortable in a physically intensive role, which includes standing for long periods of time, being outdoors most of your shift, and pulling up or pushing down lapbars.

Survey Research Recruiter

These part-time positions are responsible for recruiting and conducting interviews with consumers and guests on a wide variety of topics according to specific instructions. Also responsible for recruiting respondents (mostly on resort property) and for overseeing the completion of paper and computer-based surveys. Will also participate in other data collection-related activities, such as light data entry.

Qualified candidates must:

Possess excellent communication skills
Be comfortable approaching people that they do not know and have the ability to engage them in conversation
Have basic computer skills and be able to perform data entry accurately
Be comfortable working outdoors

Line Production Cook

This position is responsible for preparation and/or cooking of food for various food service units and the main kitchen.
Qualified candidates must:

Set up station with materials and supplies and maintain availability of same
Perform cooking duties and related production functions
Ensure high food quality level that meet Universal Orlando standard and perform daily spot checks of all portioning tools
Follow established safety standards using safe food handling guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Be able to stand for long periods of time

Custodial Attendant

Custodial Attendant

Responsible for maintaining park quality standards by thoroughly performing all cleaning duties. Promotes and provides exemplary guest service for both internal and external customers. Answers questions and offers information in a courteous manner. Responsible for monitoring inventory (cleaning supplies, paper products) for specific assigned work areas. Re-supplies when needed. Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices & ensures training standards are maintained for the department.
Requirements for Day Custodial Positions:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Stand for long periods of time

Work outdoors in all types of weather including heat, cold, and rain

Willing to clean restrooms and maintain a safe environment free of debris

Flexible work hours including weekends and evening hours

Work with cleaning chemicals with protective wear provided

Requirements for Night Custodial Positions:

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Stand for long periods of time

Work outdoors in all types of weather

Comfortable with heights

Drivers License for Florida preferred

Previous experience with hosing, pressure washing, and floor equipment preferred

Flexible availability including weekends.

3rd shift differential pay

Willing to clean restrooms and maintain a safe environment free of debris
